These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding legal agreement between you (either an individual or the firm or entity you represent) and Praxis ("we", "our", "us"). By creating a firm account, accessing, or using the Praxis platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
Praxis provides a web-based practice operating system for CS and CA firms, including client management, Maker-Checker-Approver task workflow, a filings calendar, and client invoicing. The service is provided as described on the website on the date of your access. A client-facing sign-in page is included so your firm's clients can view work assigned to them.
Explicitly not included in early access: online payment capture on the website (the founder invoices you directly), MCA or GST portal filing automation, AI-assisted work product generation, and self-serve password reset via email. When these features ship, any updated terms will be notified in-app to the firm owner.
During early access, the founder invoices each firm directly. No charge is made on signup. Payment is by UPI or bank transfer in INR to the account details shown on the invoice. Fees for your first month are stated on that invoice.
Automated self-serve card / UPI subscriptions with online checkout, automated subscriptions, and automated dunning are not yet available. They will ship with a full finance and security review before going live.
The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation, or that any particular filing deadline will be met by the platform alone. You remain responsible for meeting all statutory and regulatory deadlines applicable to your firm and clients.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall either party be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the platform. Our aggregate liability under these Terms for any claim shall not exceed the fees, if any, paid by your firm to us in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You will indemnify, defend, and hold us harmless from and against any claims, losses, damages, judgments, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of (a) your Firm Data, (b) your use of the platform in breach of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any law or third-party right.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes are notified via in-app banner or email to the firm owner at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions remain in full force. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the platform.
